Ms. Tristao is a native of Riverside County. She attended Canyon Springs High School in Moreno Valley,
California. Ms. Tristao attended the University of California at Riverside where she earned a
Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Law Society. Ms. Tristao earned her Juris Doctorate at Western State University College of Law in Fullerton, California. Upon admission to the California State Bar, Ms. Tristao worked in multiple areas of law, including plaintiff's personal injury, criminal law, and for the past five years exclusively, family law. Ms. Tristao has extensive ligation experience and gained valuable insight as a volunteer attorney with the Riverside Public Defender’s Office, including managing multiple jury trials.
